Our Story:
I’m Jenna Renshaw, owner and creator of The Community Table—a wife, a mom of two, and a lifelong lover of food. I grew up in Michigan, where food was the heart of everything we did. It was always at the center of conversations, celebrations, friendships, and even the toughest seasons of life. The table was where people gathered, stories were shared, and comfort was found.
That foundation shaped my love for cooking and my belief that food is about so much more than eating—it’s about togetherness. Life eventually led me to Texas, where bold flavors, warm hospitality, and a deep sense of community inspired me to put a new spin on the comfort foods I grew up with. The Community Table is where my Michigan roots meet a Texas twist—familiar, wholesome dishes elevated with heart, flavor, and a little Southern soul.
Every meal I create is made with intention and care, designed to bring people back to the table. Because I believe the best moments in life still happen around good food, shared with the people you love.
I’m AJ Renshaw, owner and proud Chaos Whisperer of The Community Table. I’m a husband, a dad of two, and someone who genuinely enjoys a good time—especially when it’s spent with my family outdoors, by the pool, or gathered around the smoker.
I love experimenting with flavors and creating different BBQ infusions, always chasing that perfect balance of smoke, seasoning, and comfort. Whether I’m tending the fire or tweaking a recipe, food has always been my way of bringing people together and keeping things fun.
As the master taste tester, my job is simple but serious: make sure every dish passes the “one more bite” test. Behind the scenes, I help keep the chaos in check, the vibes light, and the flavors bold—because great food should feel just as good as it tastes.
